Kyle Hope might cross the line between legal and illegal play in the Ontario Hockey League, but it’s his play on that line that makes him an effective player.

Last week, Hope knocked down Windsor goalie Alex Fotinos, forcing Fotinos out of the game, and to the hospital. Earlier this season during a line brawl, Hope fought two different opponents, setting social media on fire with the highlights of the brawl.

In recent seasons, Hope, who is in his overage season with the Owen Sound Attack, has also been suspended 10 games, and 6 games for separate incidents.

The rough and tough player, attended the Vancouver Canucks rookie camp, and impressed enough to receive a main camp invitation this offseason.

In his fifth OHL season, Hope is coming off a career year, where the Blenheim, Ontario resident proved her also has an offensive side to his game as he scored 14 goals and added 13 assists for the Attack. He also hit a career high in penalty minutes, racking up 106.

This season, Hope is on pace to eclipse his career high in points, scoring almost a point per game through his first dozen contests.
