Knight Back Behind Red Devils Bench

Jamie Knight is back as the Wallaceburg Red Devils Junior B lacrosse team’s head coach.

“The Wallaceburg Jr B Red Devil Executive have selected Jamie Knight as Coach for the 2014 Season,” said Red Devils president Todd Shepley in an email. “He will announce his staff in the upcoming weeks. We look forward to yet another exciting year of Jr B Lacrosse with his leadership and the great support of our loyal fans and local businesses.”

Knight last served as the Wallaceburg Red Devils head coach in 2012 when he helped the team to the Western Conference final, a place the team hadn’t been in more than a decade. During the regular season, Knight and the Red Devils collected a 13-7 record.

Last season, Wallaceburg was coached by Kyle VanDamme and Steve Lilley, finishing 9-11 and missing the playoffs.

Knight spent last season working with Wallaceburg’s minor lacrosse programs.
