Muirkirk’s Steven Beenackers and Chatham’s Jay Ritchie assisted their teammates Friday, lifting the Lambton Shores Predators to a 6-4 win over the St. Marys Lincolns.

In the game, both Beenackers and Ritchie, who were acquired by the Predators from Chatham in exchange from Kyle Brothers earlier this season, picked up 3 helpers each in the game.

The benefactor of Ritchie and Beenackers was Predators rookie John Warren who scored a hat trick in the game for Lambton Shores.

New acquisition Matt Kenney, who joined Lambton Shores as a part of a trade sending Tanner Ferguson and Adam Arseneault to the Chatham Maroons, scored his first goal as a Predator in the opening period. Kenney, spent part of his minor hockey years living and playing in Chatham.

Wheatley’s Ty Jackson also had an assist for the Predators in the win, while Chatham-Kent residetns Bryan Boersma and Jim McKinlay were held scoreless, but patrolled the Predators blueline in the win.

Lambton Shores hosts the London Nationals Saturday in Forest.
