The exodus of star players from the Lambton Shores Predators to the Chatham Maroons continues as the Maroons added GOJHL Western Conference MVP, and all-time active scoring leader Adam Arseneault.

In exchange, the Maroons sent the Predators rookie forward Matt Kenney and money.

With the addition of Arseneault, Chatham now features GOJHL all-stars Kyle Brothers and Tanner Ferguson from the Lambton Shores Predators, and defenseman Connor Annett.

Last season, Arseneault had 43 goals and 36 assists in 43 games for the Lambton Shores Predators, and added 7 points in 6 playoff games.

Chatham played to a 4-2 loss to the first place LaSalle Vipers Sunday, but are positioning themselves to challenge the Vipers as the season progresses.

Kenney, who is a former Chatham-Kent Cyclones player, had 3 goals and 3 assists through his first 12 games of the GOJHL season.

Arseneault has served as the Predators captain over recent seasons.
