Allin Eclipses Milestone in Win

Chatham’s Max Allin scored his 1500th career OUA point for the Wilfrid Laurier Men’s basketball team in a 94-80 win over the Waterloo Warriors on Wednesday night.

Allin becomes only the second player in school history to eclipse the 1500-point mark. Allin had eight points, nine rebounds and six assists in the win. His former teammate, Kale Harrison, is the other Laurier Golden Hawks basketball player to have reached the milestone.

Allin is now averaging 18.4 points per game this season and 8 rebounds per game.

The win improves Laurier to 4-5 this season season.

Allin and the Golden Hawks will close out the first half of their season Saturday afternoon on the road against the Guelph Gryphons, with a 3pm tip off. The team will then be off for more than a month for the annual exam break.
