Kyle Brothers took a little time to heat up after being traded from the Lambton Shores Predators. Now however, to the rest of the league’s chagrin, Brothers is red hot, and was honoured this week as the GOJHL Western Conference’s Offensive Player of the Month for October.

Following in the footsteps of Maroons captain Michael Verboom, who received the honour in September, Brothers, Verboom, and recent acquisition, and GOJHL all-time active scoring leader Adam Arseneault, have formed the league’s most dangerous offensive unit.

In fact, the trio has scored Chatham’s last 15 goals, and Brothers and Verboom sit in the top 10 in scoring in the Province. Arseneault would likely be there with his linemates had he not missed several games earlier this year.

In the month of October, Brothers had 6 goals and added 11 assists for 17 points in 8 games. He currently sits third in GOJHL scoring, and leads the Western Conference in scoring.

The Chatham Maroons face St. Marys Friday on the road, before hosting the London Nationals Sunday at Memorial Arena.
