Thamesville’s Dane Fox hasn’t been held pointless in a game in close to three weeks. This streak includes points in seven straight games, helping propel the Erie Otters to the top of the OHL’s Western Conference.

It’s that hot streak that has the Erie Otters overager sitting near the top of the OHL’s scoring race with 20 goals and 35 points in 15 games.

Fox has five multi-goal games this season and twelve multi-point games.

Fox’s offensive numbers this season have been bolstered playing with a quality forward corps in Erie, which feature league leading scorer Connor Brown, a Toronto Maple Leafs draft pick, phenom Connor McDavid, and 5th overall NHL pick Andre Burakovsky.

If he maintains his success, Fox will undoubtedly have even more interest from NHL teams than he did this summer when he attended camp with the St. Louis Blues.

Fox will look to continue to climb the OHL scoring ladder, and help his Erie Otters pick up valuable points this weekend as they host the Soo Greyhounds Friday November 15, and the Guelph Storm Saturday November 16. Erie, Sault Ste. Marie, and Guelph are currently the top three teams in the OHL’s Western Conference.
