Grootenboer Named GPAC All-Star

Grootenboer plays for Dordt College, located in Sioux Center, Iowa. A forward, Grootenboer scored eight goals this season for the Dordt Defenders, helping his team post a 3-6-1 GPAC record and a spot in the GPAC playoffs.
A senior, Grootenboer scored 23 goals in his 68 game career with Dordt, being named a GPAC Second Team All-Star during his final two seasons of competition.
Eric is a graduate of Chatham Christian High School. In 2010, he captained the CCHS Flames to an OFSAA berth in “A” soccer.
Eric also is a member of the Chatham Express soccer team. The Express competes in the Western Ontario Soccer League (WOSL) in the Premier Division.
