Pataki Named to OUA All-Rookie Team
Wallaceburg’s Jonah Pataki was named to the OUA All-Rookie team after a successful first season with the Queens University Gaels.
This season, Pataki played in 7 games for the Queens Gaels, scoring three total touchdowns. On 18 carries this season, Pataki also accumulated 150 rushing yards. Pataki also picked up 19-receiving yards.
The first year player, studying Physical Education, Pataki was also a regular on Queens’ kick return team. On 5 returns, Pataki averaged over 24-yards per return, for a total of 121-yards.
In 2012, Pataki starred for the Wallaceburg District Secondary School Tartans where he amassed an incredible 30 touchdowns and 1875 yards, en route to a Kent and SWOSSAA championship, as well as league and team MVP honours.
The Queens Gaels will take on the Western Mustangs for the OUA title in the Yates Cup this Saturday.
