Suisham Hot For Thanksgiving Game

Wallaceburg’s Shaun Suisham continued his strong season this weekend, going 2-for-2 on field goals as his Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Cleveland Browns 27-11 Sunday.

Suisham now sits third in the NFL with 24 field goals, and sixth with a completion percentage of 92.3%.

In Sunday’s game, Suisham hita long 47-yard field goal to open the scoring for the Steelers. He also kicked a 32-yard try entering the half.

Suisham and the Pittsburgh Steelers sit at 5-6 this season, putting them back into playoff contention after a dismal start. In fact, the Steelers have won 5 of their last 6 games this season, in no small part due to Suisham’s excellent play.

He’ll need to have another excellent game this week as the Steelers travel to play the Baltimore Ravens this Thursday as a part of the American Thanksgiving Day celebrations. Baltimore is the reigning Super Bowl champion, and the game gets underway Thursday at 8:30pm.
