Chatham’s Laprise To Appear On The Ultimate Fighter: Nations
Chatham’s Chad Laprise finished his audition for the ultra-popular television series, The Ultimate Fighter: Nations, by earning a spot in the competition.
Laprise, who tried out for the series in Toronto in September, will participate as a part of Team Canada, against Team Australia in the series, which features 16 fighters, all vying for a position in the UFC.
The show, which will air in early January, is a reality TV show produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championships.
Laprise, a lightweight, trains out of Adrenaline Training Center in London, Ontario. The 27-year-old enters the filming of the show, which involves single elimination bouts with the shows other competitors, with a perfect 7-0 record.
Currently, Dresden’s Chris Clements, is the only Chatham-Kent resident to have competed at the UFC level of professional MMA.
