Dane Fox is the OHL Player of the Month for November. The Erie Otters forward was the league’s leading scorer for the month, helping his Otters to the top of the OHL’s standings.

Fox, a two time player of the week finalist, and winner of OHL player of the week in the final week of November, scored 15 goals and 14 assists in only 13 games in November. He was also a plus-11.

Playing in his fifth OHL season as a 20-year-old, Fox had nine multi-point games in November, and was named a game star eight different times, including three first star selections.

The Thamesville native currently leads the league with 31 goals and is battling with teammate Connor Brown for the overall OHL scoring lead.

For the second straight month, Clachan’s Travis Konecny was named the OHL’s Rookie of the Month. The former Alliance Hockey player of the month had 16 points in 11 games for the Ottawa 67s.

Both Fox and Konecny are Chatham-Kent Cyclones alumni.
