After two straight weeks as a nominee, Thamesville’s Dane Fox was named the Ontario Hockey League Player of the Week for the week ending December 1.

Fox finished the week with six goals and two assists, for eight points in only three games. The Erie Otters forward was also a plus five rating.

Fox now sits first in OHL goal scoring with 31 goals, equaling his career high through only 28 games. The fifth year forward is also second in league scoring with 54 points, only one behind teammate Connor Brown.

As a highlight of his week, Fox scored his second career OHL hat trick Friday night in a 6-0 win over the Mississauga Steelheads.
