Below are Adam Kaminski’s answers to CKSN’s Five Questions.

1. What is your career sports highlight/top memory?

My best sports memory has to be winning silver medal at the World University Games in Bangkok back in 2007, the first medal for Canada since 1983.

2. Who is your favourite professional sports team and athlete?

I have to stick with my Canadian roots and cheer on the Toronto Raptors. Favourite athlete would have to be Tim Duncan. Although he may be boring to watch, his efficiency and professionalism as a player throughout his career is very inspiring.

3. If you could achieve one thing/goal in sports, what would it be?

Easy, win the Olympic Games.

4. Who has been your biggest sports influence and why?

Glenn Hoag, coach of the men’s national team in Canada. His knowledge of the game and coaching has really made huge strides in the overall outlook of volleyball in Canada, from young beginners to top level athletes.

5. What do you love most about playing sports?

It’s not only something that I love to do, it also brings joy and emotion to those who watch
