Andrew France is a 21-year-old, hockey player for the Dresden Junior Kings of the Great Lakes Junior C hockey league.

Playing as an overager in his fourth season in the league, France suited up for the Blenheim Blades in his first two seasons of Junior hockey.

A Tilbury resident, France is a graduate of Ecole Secondaire de Pain Court and also studied at St. Clair College.

Below are Andrew France’s answers to CKSN’s Five Questions:

1. What is your career sports highlight/top memory?

Winning the rookie of the year for the Blenheim Blades my first year.

2. Who is your favourite professional sports team and athlete?

The Detroit Red Wings and Danny Dekeyser.

3. If you could achieve one thing/goal in sports, what would it be?

Winning the league championship.

4. Who has been your biggest sports influence and why?

My two older brothers Bobby and Chris France. I grew up playing in their footsteps and seeing how hard they worked and I always looked up and learned from them.

5. What do you love most about playing sports?

The thing I love most about sports is the part of being part of team and growing many friendships.
