Novice Team Helps Community
KMHA Novice’s collect food for Goodfellows – Contributed Photo
With a week off from their busy hockey schedule, the Cobras collected food for the Chatham Goodfellows, bringing in 1160 lbs of non-perishable food.
Last weekend on the ice, the Cobras beat Essex 12-1, with Declan Waddick scoring a hat trick, Rorey Elson and Colton Graham scoring twice each, and Aiden Wheeler, Logan Houle, Daniel Norton, and Ryder Polowick scoring singles. Norton and Wheeler each had two assists, while Braden Twigg had four helpers.
The Kent TekSavvy Cobras also played to a 3-3 tie against Windsor this past weekend. Waddick again paced the scoring, picking up two goals, while Ryan Holly had the other. Wheeler picked up two assists.
The Kent Novice ‘AA’ Cobras are back in action next weekend.
