This past weekend the Kent Chaos 17U girls volleyball club played in the University of Michigan 18U invitational volleyball tournament and came home with Silver medals.

In pool B play the Chaos finished second with a 3-3 record against Victors VBC18 (Dearnorn, Michigan) 2-0, Huron Valley 18 (Ann Arbor, Michigan) 1-1, and High Velocity Hurricanes 18(Canton, Michigan) 0-2.

In semi-final action, they matched up against Mid Michigan VBC (Midland, Michigan) and came out on fire winning 25-16, 25-22. In the final they again played the Hurricanes losing in straight sets 19-25, 23-25.

Andrea Colasanti was chosen to the tournament all-star team for her strong defensive play as well as Megan Canniff for her offense with some explosive kills. Next up for the Chaos is their 2nd tournament in the OVA this Saturday in Stratford, Ontario.

Team members are: Jillian Anderson, Sheridan Rogers, Hunter Medd, Madeline Myers, Summer Eastcott, Mariet Wierenga, Sam Lester, Ella Lassaline, Megan Cannif and Andrea Colasanti. Coaches Kelly Beausejour and Shawnie Jackson.
