Two Chatham Granite Club bantam boys curling teams were successful on the weekend.

Oliver Campbell skipped the winning rink in the ‘A’ final at the Zone 16 playdown for the Ontario Curling Association bantam boys championship Saturday at the Ridgetown Curling Club. The team had a 2-0 record. They won They won 6 to 1 over Aiden Poole (Chatham) and 6 to 2 over Aaron Wyville (London) to grab the title.

Vice Tye Juniper, second Graham Dolsen, lead Matt Scully and fifth Jeremy Bueckert are the other team members. Wayne Sass is the coach.

Aiden Poole skipped his team to the ‘B’ final, with a 2-1 record.
Vice Alex Gough, second Noah Link, lead Peter Ryan and fifth Alex Dumoulin-Jeromel are the other team members with Ken Poole as the coach.

Both teams will play in the Region 4 playdown January 18-19 in Paris, Ontario.

The winners advance to the provincial final starting February 5 in Coldwater.
