Chilly Run Put On Ice, Rescheduled
Due to high winds, imminent snow, and plummeting temperatures, the first instalment of the recently announced RunCK Race Series, the Chilly Run, has been rescheduled.
Originally scheduled for Sunday, January 26, the Chilly Run, which benefits the Canadian Cancer Society, will now be held February 23.
The weekend forecast is calling for up to 15cm of snow, with the CK Police asking drivers to stay off county roads Friday, due to unsafe driving conditions. Sunday’s forecast looks to hit lows of -20 Celsius, a weekend high of 5-10cm of snow, and only 1 hour of forecasted sunshine.
The Chilly Run is the first of nine races planned as a part of the RunCK Race Series, which officially launched earlier this week.
