Dr. Ytsma Comeback of the Week: Brodie Hits His Stride
After struggling for much of the season, the Calgary Flames picked up two wins this past week, including a come from behind victory over the Nashville Predators Friday January 24. Dresden’s TJ Brodie played an integral role in the win, helping the Flames complete the Dr. Sarah Ytsma Comeback of the Week, for the Week ending January 29.
After falling behind 1-0 in the first, 3-1 in the second, and 4-2 in the third, the Calgary Flames fought back, tying the game with just over 6-minutes left in the third period on a goal by David Jones. Dresden’s TJ Brodie had an assist on the play.
The Flames completed the comeback, winning the game in a shootout.
Brodie finished the game plus 1, with 3 shots on goal, and played the third most minutes among Calgary skaters, logging 27:38 in the win. Brodie appeared to be hitting his stride, as the defender was on a three game point streak.
