Dr. Ytsma Comeback of the Week: Tartans Find Fourth Quarter Magic

After falling behind the Blenheim Bobcats heading into the fourth quarter of their January 9 game, the Wallaceburg Tartans Senior Boys baskteball team completed the Comeback of the Week, sponsored by Dr. Sarah Ytsma, for the week ending January 8.

Playing in Kent high school Senior Boys basketball, the Wallaceburg Tartans needed a huge fourth quarter performance to come from behind and beat the Blenheim Bobcats 35-33.

Entering the fourth quarter trailing Blenheim 29-22, the Tartans scored 13 points, and held the Bobcats to only 4 points in the fourth quarter, the edge out the victory.

Wallaceburg’s Trent Hopkins scored 11-points for the Tartans in the win, while Garth Denys had 6-points.
