Liberty Lifts Kings To Win In Final Home Game
Dillon Liberty opened the scoring for the Kings in the first period, firing home a pass from Macks Holmes. Amhertburg would reply late in the frame, knotting the game at 1-1. In the second, Liberty, along with Dede Cato, would set up Derek Daly to again put the Kings ahead.
Liberty would continue his strong night, scoring his second of the game, and third point with time ticking down in the second.
In the third period, Liberty would pick up his fourth point of the game, setting up Dede Cato for a powerplay marker. The other assist on the goal went to Tupperville’s James Shelton.
The Admirals would pull within two in the final seconds of the game, but it was too little too late.
Dresden will now prepare for their final two games of the season, next weekend against Belle River and Alvinston, before opening the 2014 playoffs against the first place Essex 73s.
