Pollock Off To Strong Start
Port Lambton’s Sean Pollock is back for his 11th professional lacrosse season with the National Lacrosse League’s Colorado Mammoth, and is off to a strong start to the year.
In his first game this season, the Wallaceburg Red Devils and Wallaceburg Minor Lacrosse alumni scored a hat trick in a 13-12 Colorado win over the Vancouver Stealth.
“I just found myself in a good spot a couple times,” said Pollock on the Mammoth’s team website about his three third period goals.
Pollock had his best game of the season against the Stealth on the 17th, scoring three goals and adding five assists.
Pollock continued scoring over the team’s next games, totalling 11 goals and 10 assists for 21 points in six games this season.
Despite his personal success, Pollock’s Colorado Mammoth were struggling through the first portion of the season, sitting last in the NLL’s West Division.
Pollock and the Colorado Mammoth host his former team, the Minnesota Swarm this Saturday in Denver.
