CCHS Flames Strike All Ontario Silver
The team finished with an impressive 16-4 record over the weekend, starting with an 8-2 record in pool play, which placed the Flames first in their pool, and third overall heading into playoffs.
In their opening playoff game, the Flames won 25-23, 25-19 against London Christian, and then beat Providence 25-15, 25-14 to move on to the quarter-finals.
Facing Kings, the Chatham Christian Flames fought their way to a 27-25, 25-22 victory, which advanced the girls to the semi-final against Heritage. CCHS handed Heritage a quick defeat, winning 25-17, 25-15.
In the final, the Flames came up against a tough host team, Quinte Christian, and were unable to secure the win, coming home with silver after a pair of 25-18 losses.
