Five Questions With Cam Aitken

Blenheim-Blades-SkatesCam Aitken is an 18-year-old hockey player from Blenheim, Ontario, who currently plays for the Blenheim Blades.

An accomplished high school football and basketball player at Blenheim District High School, Aitken has sat among the Great Lakes Junior C Hockey League leaders in points all season.

Aitken formerly played minor hockey for Blenheim, and with the Chatham-Kent Cyclones ‘AAA’ organization.

Below are Cam Aitken’s answers to CKSN’s Five Questions.

1. What is your career sports highlight/top memory?

Making it twice to the OMHA finals.

2. Who is your favourite professional sports team and athlete?

The Toronto Maple Leafs and Mike Cammalleri.

3. If you could achieve one thing/goal in sports, what would it be?

Play University hockey.

4. Who has been your biggest sports influence and why?

My grandfather George Aitken. He taught me everything I know about hockey and how to play.

5. What do you love most about playing sports?

I love seeing the team everyday for hockey, they’re practically family.
