Flames Shine Bright In SWOSSAA Win

The Chatham Christian Flames Junior Girls’ Volleyball team captured the ‘A’ SWOSSAA title Friday defeating Tecumseh Vista in three games.

“The Flames played very well tonight,” said coach Sharon Smith. “Good serving, passing, covering and finding the holes. We had a great season coming in first in the Kent league. Then winning in 3 games against North Lambton and now the SWOSSAA finals.”

The Flames defeated Tecumseh Vista 25-14, 25-19, and 25-23.

Chatham Christian’s Junior Girls team also came in 1st place in two tournaments (CKSS Midget and Blenheim tournaments) and second place losing against the CKSS juniors in the tournament we hosted.
