Blenheim Novices One Win From OMHA Crown
Facing Twin Centre, Blenheim dominated the opening two games, kicking off the series with a 7-1 win.
Brayden Degelas and David Brown each scored hat tricks in game one, with Degalas also adding an assist. Braydon Segeren had the other Blenheim goal, while Kolby Caughy chipped in with two assists.
Game two of the series was even more lopsided, with the Blenheim Novice Reps wining 14-5.
Degelas had an incredible 9 point performance in the win, scoring 7 goals. Brown was also dominant, scoring 5 goals, and assisting on 2. The other Blenheim goal scorers were Segeren and Sam Warriner with singles, while Caughy (3), Aiden Rigby (2), Quinn Pickering (2), Remi Steen (1), and Kalen Turner (1) all hit the score sheet, and Cam Wellington had another strong game.
James Larsh played well in net both games for Blenheim in the wins.
Blenheim will try to close out the OMHA final series Tuesday when the puck drops in Wellesley at 7:05pm. If another game is needed, the series will return to Blenheim Friday at 6pm.
