New Look, More Features, Better Coverage From CKSN
In the coming days, you’ll notice the Chatham-Kent Sports Network (CKSN.ca) will receive a facelift. Well, to be more accurate, we’re giving ourselves a complete overhaul.
Why? You like how we look now you say? How kind, but it’s time. It’s time for a more modern design, time for improved functionality, and time for more features and better coverage.
Over the past year, you may have noticed our news showing up in local print media, and on the local radio waves. With that growth, we’re also growing our coverage on CKSN.ca. We’ve added features including our “Five Questions” and “Coach’s Corner” interviews, we named our first Athlete of the Year, and are doing Athlete of the Month votes each month.
We have an in depth feature article coming out every week that will read more like what you’d find in a magazine, than it will as a ‘breaking news’ type article, and we’re focusing on getting more response and interaction from local athletes into our articles every week.
With that being said, we’re always looking for added support as we grow. If you own a business and would like to support CKSN in our quest to promote local athletes and teams, to help grow coverage and the celebration of these local organizations and youth sports that make our communities great, please email ian@cksn.ca.
With any luck, you’ll also see some unique partnerships happening on CKSN that will directly benefit our local sporting community.
So here we go. Enjoy the new look that will roll out in the coming days. Change isn’t always easy, but it’s sometimes necessary. We’ll have a new look, but with it will come more features, and better coverage from CKSN.
If you have any feedback, positive or negative on the changes we’re making, feel free to comment, use our contact form, write us on Facebook, Tweet at us, or just grin and bear it.
Can’t wait to see the changes. Great site now, should be even better!
