Dr. Ytsma Comeback of the Week: Chiefs Win OMHA Title

After dropping their opening game of the OMHA Juvenile final against the Drayton Defenders, the Ridgetown-Blenheim Chiefs fought back to eventually win the OMHA title, earning them the Dr. Sarah Ytsma Comeback of the Week, for the week ending April 3.

Midway through March, the Chiefs opened their series against Drayton, but fell 8-5 on the road, and were unable to even the series until a week later. After they grabbed their first win, their was no looking back for the Chiefs, who played in front of packed houses in Ridgetown.

The Chiefs capped off their comeback series win March 29 when they defeated Drayton 6-3, powered by a four goal performance from Ridgetown’s Derrick Van Every.
