Rich Corrente is a 22-year-old college baseball player from Chatham, Ontario. Corrente currently plays for the St Catherine Patriots in the NAIA.

This summer, Corrente will also be playing for the Burlington Bandits of the IBL.

Below are Rich Corrente’s answers to CKSN’s Five Questions:

1. What is your career sports highlight/top memory?

Being able to pitch after having two Tommy John surgeries.

2. Who is your favourite professional sports team and athlete?

The Toronto Blue Jays and Steve Delabar.

3. If you could achieve one thing/goal in sports, what would it be?

To be able to get my velocity better and work harder to be able to get drafted and play pro baseball.

4. Who has been your biggest sports influence and why?

My Parents have been the biggest influence for me because they pushed me through everything and helped me with everything and things that I do; and my cousin David helped me with my mechanics and getting them better to be more effective with my pitches.

5. What do you love most about playing sports?

I love participating in sports to be able to help others achieve what they can’t and be able to play the game that I love.
