Pollock Helps Mammoth Roll To Playoffs

Sean-Pollock-Colorado-Mammoth-TwitterPort Lambton’s Sean Pollock had a big game Saturday to help his Colorado Mammoth clinch a National Lacrosse League playoff spot.

Pollock scored two goals and added four assists in Saturday’s playoff clinching win, a 18-12 decision over his former team the Minnesota Swarm.

The win improves the Mammoth to 7-10 this season.

Pollock has 22 goals and 24 assists for 46 points in 16 games this season, which is his 11th in the National Lacrosse League.

The former Wallaceburg Red Devils and Wallaceburg Minor Lacrosse product will close out his 11th NLL campaign next weekend when the Colorado Mammoth play the Philadelphia Wings.

The Mammoth will begin their 2014 playoff run the following week, although their opponent has yet to be decided.
