Red Devils Load Up For Playoff Run
The Wallaceburg Red Devils have added several players from the Point Edward Pacers, gearing up for what they hope is a long playoff run.
The Red Devils acquired Dan Charlton, Kevin Conroy, Connor Smith, and Brandon Burr from the last place Pacers, who are 1-11 this season.
Charlton was the Pacers leading scorer with 27 goals and 22 assists in 11 games. Smith sat only one point behind in the team scoring ranks with 21 goals and 27 assists in 12 games. Conroy was the team’s third leading scorer collecting 12 goals and 23 assists in 10 games.
Burr, a defensive player, had 13 points in 11 games.
The group of Pacers players add to an already deep Red Devils squad, and will bolster their roster, which already sits with an 8-5 record.
Wallaceburg has seven games remaining, including against the Point Edward Pacers tonight at 7pm in Wallaceburg.
