Wallaceburg finished their season with a 14-6 record. After being picked to take a step back in the standings this year, Wallaceburg coach Jamie Knight is proud of the season his team put together.
“We kept getting told we weren’t going to be good all winter,” said Knight, “and I think kids not coming back was also inspiring to our young kids to step up. I’m really proud of our effort thus far but we have big plans for this summer and we think we have the team to go on a run.”
The Red Devils will now wait for the opening round playoff opponent.
