WDSS Tartans Hand Out Athletic Awards

The Wallaceburg District Secondary School Tartans handed out their 2014-2015 athletic awards last week, honouring the school’s student athletes.

Many awards were handed out during the evening, including the below winners receiving grade by grade athlete of the year honours, and Walpole Island athlete of the year:

Female Rookie of the Year: Jaimi Chauvin
Male Rookie of the Year: Carter DeKoning
Female Junior Athlete of the Year: Val Ezewski
Male Junior Athlete of the Year: Casey McGee
Female Walpole Island First Nations Athlete of the Year: Chelsey Johnson
Male Walpole Island First Nations Athlete of the Year: Quinn Williams
Male Athlete of the Year: Josh Berkvens
Female Athlete of the Year: Alyssa Lucier
