Sports Community Mourns For Young Athlete
Tedford, a Blenheim resident, was a member of the 2014 OMHA Juvenile Champion Ridgetown-Blenheim Chiefs, and a beloved member of the Blenheim sports community. He also played Intermediate lacrosse in Wallaceburg this season.
Playing a handful of games for the Blenheim Blades in 2010-2011, Tedford is also an alumni of the Chatham-Kent Cyclones ‘AAA’ program.
Tedford, an employee at Magnum Signs in Chatham, played multiple high school sports while a student at Blenheim District High School, including football and hockey. Following his passing, there was an outpouring from former teammates and coaches across social media honouring Devin’s memory.
Devin was the loved son of Tina Tedford and Peter Tedford, and brother of Jalen.
