Five Questions With Noble Jacobs
As well, Jacobs, a student at Wallaceburg District Secondary School, also backstopped Team Ontario’s Aboriginal Lacrosse team to a bronze medal at the North American Indigenous Games in Saskatchewan during the summer of 2014.
Jacobs has also represented Team Iropuois at the National level in the past.
Below are Noble Jacobs answers to CKSN’s Five Questions:
1. What is your career sports highlight/top memory?
My top sports memory would have to be when I competed for Team Iroquois Lacrosse in the Canadian Nationals last summer as well as playing for Team Iroquois against Team Canada in Montreal.
2. Who is your favourite professional sports team and athlete?
My favourite professional sports team is the Detroit Red Wings. As for my favourite professional athlete would have to be Cody Jamieson of the Rochester Knighthawks because of the amount he gives back to Native communities within Ontario.
3. If you could achieve one thing/goal in sports, what would it be?
The one thing I would love to do within sports would to be able to go to school for either hockey or lacrosse in the United States.
4. Who has been your biggest sports influence and why?
To me, the biggest influence in my sports career so far has been my dad. He’s always been there for advice and even criticism. He’s always been involved in my sports whether it was as a parent driving me those 7 hours to make it to practice in Napanee, Ontario or being involved in running the bench during hockey season. My dad has always been there for me within my sports and always will be to support me through the next steps I take.
5. What do you love most about playing sports?
The thing I love about playing sports the most would be competing at the highest level I can for my age to the best of my abilities.
