Fox Listed Among Canucks’ Top 10 Prospects

Thamesville’s Dane Fox, who was signed by the Vancouver Canucks as a free agent in December 2013, has been listed in the annual The Hockey News Yearbook as the Vancouver Canucks’ tenth best prospect.

After finishing his OHL career with a 107-point, 64-goal campaign, Fox is predicted by many to earn some games with the Canucks this season. Fox was also the OHL’s Overage Player of the Year.

Otherwise, Fox is likely to play a prominent scoring role for the American Hockey League’s Utica Comets. The Hockey News projects Fox as an NHLer in 2016-2017.

Vancouver’s top ranked prospect, Bo Horvat, also has Chatham-Kent ties, as his parents are from Bothwell.
