Six Nations Arrows Win OLA Championship

Three Chatham-Kent lacrosse players represented Six Nations in the junior ‘A’ championships.
Wallaceburg’s Jordan Durston and Joel Shepley, alongside Brandon Montour of Tilbury helped capture the OLA title in the Ontario junior ‘A’ Championship last night.
Six Nations took a 13-11 win over Whitby, sweeping the warriors in four straight playoff games.
This provincial title secured the team a place at the Minto Cup in British Columbia.
The Minto Cup is Canada’s National junior ‘A’ lacrosse championship. The annual tournament is held August 16th to the 24th at the Langley Centre in British Columbia.
