Wallaceburg Lady Griffins Win Silver

The Wallaceburg Lady Griffins intermediate team won provincial silver Tuesday morning in Whitby.

Clarington defeated the Lady Griffins 6-2 in the gold medal game.

The team had a dominating tournament with five wins and zero loses before entering the final.

The Lady Griffins won their first two games on Monday as they defeated Kitchener 4-2 and Clarington 9-4.

Tuesday the ladies continued their winning streak beating London 3-0 and Hamilton 5-0.

Finally, the ladies beat Six Nations 5-4 before facing Clarington again in the finals.
