Chatham’s Max Allin is done with Australia for now, but after finishing as the runners up in the Big V league with his Southern Peninsula Sharks basketball team, Allin is looking to return next season and take the title

“I’ve had an amazing time in Australia the last 6 months, it has been an incredible experience,” wrote Allin about his first season in the Big V basketball league via Facebook.

Allin, who finished 14th in Big V Division I scoring, averaging 16.4 points per game, and 9 rebounds per game, helped the Sharks to a Big V final, where they fell to Latrobe City 3-2 in the final series. The former Wilfrid Laurier University star however, is excited about returning for another run at a title

“I’m looking forward to coming back in January already! Although we finished second, the season was an amazing ride with the best coach and teammates I could have asked for,” continued Allin.

“I loved every second playing for the Southern Peninsula Sharks, what an awesome club to be involved with. I will be back better than ever, and we will win it all next year, that’s a fact.”
