CK Trio Teammates With Ramblers
According to London Ramblers coach Dave Brown, he’s excited to have the JMSS’ Carleton and Jackson together all season, and believe they bring a lot to the basketball team.
“Bridget is the most versatile player in the game today,” says Brown of his star, who also plays on Canada’s National Junior team, and is committed to play NCAA division I basketball for Iowa State. “Her abilities are demonstrated through her skill level, her passion and her work ethic. Her leadership will be more dominant in this upcoming season and we as a team will follow her lead.”
Carleton played in the JUEL league last season with London, while Jackson is in her first season at this level.
“Ashley has become an amazing player on both sides of the ball,” explained Brown of Jackson, who played for the Ramblers’ JUEL Prep team last season, and was a league all-academic selection. “Her ability to make shots and defend are her successes. She brings a work ethic above all and will push her teamsters to compete.”
The London Ramblers will feature a third Chatham-Kent product this season as well, as Wallaceburg’s Alyssa Lucier will also suit up for the team.
“Alyssa will bring an athletic pressence on both sides of the ball,” says Brown. “Her ability to cause problems on defines with her speed and athleticism will be great for us. She has the ability to get in the paint and also to shoot the ball very well.”
The Ramblers will begin their JUEL schedule in November.
