Kings Blank Blades
Scott Tricker faced a barrage of Blenheim shots, stopping all 41 he faced, as the Kings were outshot 41-21 by the Blades.
After a scoreless first period, Kevin Ritzer scored the only goal the Dresden Kings would need, with assists on the powerplay marker going to Dillon Liberty and Macks Holmes.
Macks Holmes would add a goal of his own on the powerplay before the second period was out, with Liberty and Jim McKinlay assisting.
It was Tricker again however, who stole the show for the Kings, holding off all 41 shots he faced. Eric Stewardson took the loss in net for the Blades, stopping 19 shots.
The Blenheim Blades are in action again Tuesday on the road against the Essex 73s, while Dresden will wait until Friday when they host the Wallaceburg Lakers.
