Riversite Realty, Todd & Rick Shepley Laker of the Game: Trevor Waller

The Wallaceburg Lakers Player of the Game, sponsored by Riversite Realty Todd and Rick Shepley, for Wallaceburg’s September 18 game against the Essex 73s is Trevor Waller.

Despite the Lakers falling 4-0 to the Essex 73s, Waller was a bright spot for the Lakers, putting in an all around solid effort, and providing energy for the Lakers.

According to Wallaceburg head coach Ken Shine, Waller, a Wallaceburg resident, has grown as a player early in the season.

“He is picking up his game,” said Shine of Waller’s performance Wednesday night.

Last season, his first with the Wallaceburg Lakers, Waller had 1 goal and 4 points in 38 games. Through 3 games this season, the forward has 1 assist.
