The Chatham Girls U12 Strikers capped off another incredible season at the London District Youth SoccerLeagues’s Challenge Cup Festival in Woodstock this past weekend. The Strikers went 4-0 in the tournament and won the U12 Tier 1 Division Pool.

In their opening match on Saturday the Chatham Strikers beat London AG in a thrilling, highly contested and competitive match 1-0.

They proceeded to beat Middlesex United 3-1 and then advanced to Sundays final games where they beat St. Thomas 3-1, and then faced their league rival, the London German Canadians in the final game.

The Strikers dominated possession throughout. A single goal proved to be enough and the Chatham Strikers prevailed 1-0 to go undefeated in the final tournament of the year.

In addition to their tournament success, the Strikers went 16-0 in the Lambton Kent District Soccer league and 12-3-1 in the London District Youth Soccer League. This season’s success was a repeat of the Strikers London District Youth Soccer League Championship crown last season.
