Wildcats To Host University Basketball Game in Chatham
The Chatham-Kent Wildcats Basketball Club and TVCOGECO are presenting an exhibition men’s basketball game between the University of Windsor Lancers and the Fanshawe College Falcons at the St. Clair College, Thames Campus Healthplex on Saturday, September 27 at 4pm.
The game will be hosted by TVCOGECO Chatham-Kent sports personality Peter Cobb along with analyst and coach Bob Barwick.
The Windsor Lancers are lead by Head Coach Chris Oliver, who is a two-time OUA Men’s Basketball Coach of the Year, CIS all-Canadian and two-time OUA all-star Lien Phillip, and Chatham-Kent basketball greats Greg Allin and Kevin Kloostra are assistant coaches.
The event will raise much-needed funds for the Chatham-Kent Wildcats, a travel basketball program for boys and girls from Novice to Juvenile. Part of Ontario Basketball, the club competes against other programs around the province and each year competes in the Provincial Championships.
The game will be recorded for later telecast. Check the Schedule at tvcogeco.com/chatham for times. TVCOGECO is Truly Local Television, partnering with our community to produce programs that inform, educate and entertain.
Cost at the door is $5 for guests, and is free for all Chatham-Kent Wildcats players.
