Dillon Liberty Dynamite “Four” Kings
Liberty opened the scoring Friday night in Dresden less than a minute into the game, but Lakeshore would answer back on a Hunter Corp goal midway through the period to keep things tied 1-1.
In the second period, the two teams traded goals, with Lakeshore scoring first, followed by a Kings goal from Justin Delgado, and another Canadiens marker from Corp.
As the clocked passed the games mid-point however, the Dillon Liberty show took over, as Liberty would score twice, capping off his hat trick, in the latter half of the second period to give the Kings a 4-3 lead heading into the third period.
After Lakeshore scored to open the third period and tie the game, Liberty was at it again, scoring his fourth goal of the game, and the game winner. Kevin Ritzer would pick up his third assist of the night on Liberty’s fourth goal.
Scott Tricker was spectacular in the win as the Dresden Kings were outshot 50-30, with Tricker turning away 46 shots.
Dresden and Lakeshore will finish game two of their home and home tonight in Lakeshore.
