Chatham’s Chad Laprise is about to embark on a new chapter in his professional MMA career, and it will begin with the biggest fight of his lift, his first UFC fight as a part of Fight Night in Halifax, October 4.

“You’re going to see good, crisp, clean technique,” Laprise told UFC.ca in a pre-fight new release.

Laprise earned his UFC contract by winning The Ultimate Fighter Nations: Canada vs. Australia.

With a strong faith and training behind him, Laprise feels he’s ready for his October 4 bout against Yodenis Cedeno, where he’ll put his perfect professional record on the line.

“I’ll be 100% prepared and you’ll tune in for an exciting matchup,” Laprise said in the UFC.ca article. “I guarantee in this matchup with Yodenis, this fight is going to be fireworks. He’s going to bring it too and it’s going to be very exciting.”
