Riversite Realty Todd & Rick Shepley Laker of the Game: Matt Clark

The Wallaceburg Lakers Player of the Game, sponsored by Riversite Realty Todd and Rick Shepley, for Wallaceburg’s October 8 game against the Dresden Kings is Matt Clark.

Trailing 2-0 after the first period, Matt Clark sparked a comeback that helped the Wallaceburg Lakers pick up their first win of the season, a 6-4 decision over the Kings.

“Matt Clark is our player of the game, and it’s nice to get our first win,” said Lakers head coach Ken Shine following the win.

Clark scored a hat trick in the win, and also assisted on Mike Kindrachuk’s second period goal for four points on the night. Clark now has 5 goals and 2 assists through 6 regular season games.

Wallaceburg will travel to Alvinston this Friday, before hosting the Wheatley Sharks next Wednesday, October 15.
