Kyle Brothers Lights Out In NCAA Debut
This season, NCAA hockey fans will have to get used to hearing Brothers’ name as well, as the freshman got off to an incredible start in his first two NCAA games with the Adrian College Bulldogs over the weekend.
Facing Northland in a pair of games over the weekend, Kyle Brothers had a hat trick and added two assists for five points in his NCAA debut, a 9-2 win for the Adrian College Bulldogs.
Saturday, facing Northland again, Brothers had a goal and an assist, for a weekend total of 4 goals and 3 assists for 7-points in only 2 games. Adrian won their second matchup with Northland 7-2.
Last season with the Chatham Maroons, Kyle Brothers totalled 57 goals and 122-points in only 47 games to lead both the Maroons and GOJHL in scoring.
Former Maroons defenseman Jake Flegel also plays for Adrian College, who compete in the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association in NCAA Division III.
