Mike Myers Signs With The Blenheim Blades
Myers, a 20-year-old Wallaceburg resident, had a goal and an assist in 8 games with the Dresden Kings this season, and was traded for cash.
Myers, who has played three full seasons of Junior C hockey with Wallaceburg and Dresden, scored 13 goals and added 12 assists for 25 points in 32 games last season for Dresden.
To make room for Myers on their roster, the Blenheim Blades have released Alex Ritchie.
The Dresden Kings also released Kain Hopkins this week. Hopkins, a 1997 born defender from Morvaiantown was held pointless in 12 games with Dresden this season.
